Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff is seeking a dedicated Advisor to serve as the main advising contact for students. This role includes assisting students with course selection, guiding them through admission and registration processes, and providing support to ensure their success.
The ideal candidate should have 1-2 years of experience in an advising setting and possess strong communication skills. The position offers a salary of $18.46 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
This position will serve as the general advising contact for students. Responsibilities will include assisting students with appropriate courses and program of study selection and explaining program of study plans, admission, financial aid assistance, and registration procedures. The Advisor will work as part of the Enrollment Services team with recruitment efforts, advisement, and retention efforts. Additional duties include but not limited to:
Experience: 1-2 years in an advising setting preferred.
Salary range is $18.46 per hour. Excellent fringe benefit package including, but not limited to health, dental, vision, and life insurance; sick and vacation leave; and the Missouri Public School & Education Employee Retirement System. Generous leave plan provided.
