Job summary

Franklin Public Schools in Franklin, MA, seeks an Administrator of Student Services at Franklin High School to lead special education services in general and special education settings. The role reports to the School Principal(s) and the Assistant Director of Special Education, with a 10-month/193-day work year.

The administrator will oversee MTSS, IEP compliance, staff supervision, and collaboration with counselors and psychologists to support students’ social-emotional and behavioral needs.

Qualifications

• DESE license as a Special Education Administrator or Principal/Assistant Principal.
• Master’s Degree required.
• Three years’ experience in special education services.
• Must pass CORI and CHRI background checks.

Responsibilities

• Foster inclusion and community among neurodiverse and neurotypical students.
• Develop and implement school-wide programs for social-emotional learning and inclusion.
• Collaborate with school counselors and psychologists to support emotional/behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with administrators on discipline procedures and safety/support plans.
• Oversee MTSS implementation and IEP compliance in general and special education.
