Job summary

Nurtur Aveda Fredric's Institute is seeking an energetic Student Salon + Spa Manager to lead the student salon and spa experience. You will blend strategy with hands-on leadership, guiding daily operations, mentoring future beauty professionals, and creating memorable experiences for guests, students, and staff.

In this role you will manage day-to-day school operations, hire and train Guest Care team, schedule coverage, drive guest satisfaction, and support sales through service and retail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years' retail or customer service experience in a salon or spa.
• Supervising and training staff is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, time-management, organization, initiative and strong communication.
• Proficiency with POS systems and retail management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the student salon and spa operations daily.
• Mentor and coach Guest Care team and students.
• Schedule staff to meet the school’s needs.
• Handle guest concerns and ensure high service quality.
• Drive sales and manage inventory and costs.
• Collaborate with Education Manager on guest surveys and coaching.
• Support events and career fairs.
