Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a Road Scholars student crew during trainings, teambuilders, service projects, and other campus-based activities
• Model teamwork, professionalism, and SNHU community values for incoming students
• Provide clear instructions, demonstrations, and on-site guidance to ensure tasks are completed safely and effectively
• Foster an inclusive, encouraging environment that supports student confidence and connection
• Coordinate daily schedules, transitions, and attendance for assigned Road Scholars
• Communicate updates, concerns, and supply needs to program staff
• Assist with equipment setup, cleanup, and basic maintenance for project materials

Job Summary

Road Crew Leaders support SNHU’s early‑arrival Road Scholars program by guiding small groups of incoming students through campus‑based service projects, team‑building activities, and daily program logistics. They help create a welcoming, structured, and positive experience for participants while ensuring tasks are completed safely, collaboratively, and in alignment with program goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a Road Scholars student crew during trainings, teambuilders, service projects, and other campus-based activities

Minimum Qualifications

• Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program
• Work study part of financial aid package
• Students with work study may be prioritized
• Students who are commuters will be prioritized

Work Schedule

8 hours/day during the Road Scholars early arrival program

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $13.00 - $15.00. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations.
