Denver Research Institute is seeking a Student Assistant to support the clinical research coordinating team under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and collaborators. The primary responsibility of the Student Assistant is to provide support to the clinical research coordinating team.

The role involves assisting with administrative tasks, document processing, and data-related duties in a business-casual office environment.

Salary Range

$15.00 per hour

Reports to:

Principal Investigator and the Investigator’s collaborators.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology, seeks a Student Assistant who will work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and the Investigator’s collaborators. The primary responsibility of the Student Assistant is to provide support to the clinical research coordinating team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist Clinical Research Coordinators/PRAs in assembling supplies.
  • Assist Clinical Research Coordinators/PRAs in printing non-sensitive materials.
  • Assist in filing of non-sensitive administrative documents.
  • Electronic scanning of non-sensitive administrative documents.
  • Quality checking of scanned documents.
  • Position is prohibited from any interaction with VA subjects and/or VA subject data.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a business-casual office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls. Reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies up to 20 pounds. You may be required to wear a facial mask and/or work remotely.
