  • Maintain compliance checklists and ADA tracking in SIS; assist with day-to-day administrative tasks.

Will communicate with students and/or parents in appropriate areas of student information, progress, or concerns. Performs a variety of complex and specialized activities related to student records and all compliance issues related to Average Daily Attendance (ADA) and State educational mandates.RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: This list is illustrative only and is not intended to be a comprehensive list of tasks performed by this classification. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job.Front Desk and Student Support:Schedule orientation for incoming studentsComply with expulsion, ELL and special education, re-enrollment and reinstatement enrollment protocolsEnsure all required student enrollment paperwork is complete and correctAccurately input student information into SIS including immunizations, enrollment dates, school track, and supervising teacherProperly issue and track student work permitsProvide quality customer serviceAnswer all incoming telephone calls and handle them in the appropriate mannerFile documents in student foldersCompliance:ADA tracking and recording of work samples for accuracyAudit student work samples as well as all documents that require mandatory compliance (Master Agreement, WSR, DLL, Synopsis, Report Cards, etc.)Check report cards for completeness and accuracy before going to the registrarFile student homework awayConduct Orientations for new studentsAssist teachers with problem solving issues with compliance and PLSCreate and maintain compliance and ADA checklistsVerify and confirm ADA in SIS system with form and tracking numberSubmit compliance error reports to managementAdherence to attendance policiesAdministrative duties, responsibilities, and activities may be assigned or changed from time to timeSPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, ETC:Demonstrates excellent customer service skills including the ability to greet customers in a friendly manner and provide responsive, timely, and accurate follow-up to questions and inquiriesMulti-tasking skills; ability to react and respond to changing circumstances, proceduresRespond to requests and inquiries from students, visitors, employees and supervisorsAble to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple requests or interruptions while still completing projects or work assignments in a timely mannerAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writingAbility to work independently with minimal directionMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or General Education required2 years of work experience in a fast-paced, clerical support position in a profession business settingGood attention to detail and maintain accuracy of workGood record keeping techniques that demonstrate desirable planning and organizational skillsPrepare general, statistical and special reportsProficient or Intermediate skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)TRAVEL: Ability to travel in performance of job duties is requiredPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Mental Demands: high workflow management, high project coordinationFinger Dexterity: using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers togetherTalking: especially where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quicklyAverage Hearing: able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary informationAverage Visual Abilities: ordinary acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or operate machineryPhysical Strength: sedentary work.
