Job summary

Lifelong Learning is seeking a Registrar to support student enrollment across multiple sites in California, including Wilmington and Long Beach. The role interfaces with several departments to ensure accurate student records and program completion, under Title 1 funding.

You will interpret transcripts, verify credits, and maintain the student information database, while assisting administrators and counselors with enrollment planning and reporting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years office experience or 3 years in a public school setting handling student information.
  • Experience using student information databases.
  • Proficient with word processing and spreadsheet software.

Responsibilities

  • Interprets transcripts and verifies credits to ensure conformance with graduation requirements.
  • Enter all necessary information into the student information database (tests, immunizations, records).
  • Maintain records of completed coursework and grade changes.
  • Assist administrators and counselors with student academic planning and reporting.
  • Liaison between schools to obtain relevant student records/files.
  • Prepare general, statistical and special reports for management.

This Position will interface with various departments and personnel to provide information concerning student records and school program completion.RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: This list is illustrative only and is not intended to be a comprehensive list of tasks performed by this classification.
