Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) College of Pharmacy is seeking a Student Recruitment & Outreach Specialist to drive enrollment goals. You will manage prospective students from inquiry to application, provide guided support, and build relationships with high schools, colleges, and professional partners through virtual and in-person events.

Reporting to the Admissions Manager, you will maintain CRM records and collaborate on communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience in higher education recruitment, enrollment management, admissions, student services, or a related field.
• Experience recruiting for pharmacy, healthcare, health professions, graduate, or professional degree programs.
• Demonstrated experience developing strategic recruitment plans and achieving enrollment goals.
• Experience utilizing CRM platforms such as Anthology, Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems to manage prospective student engagement and communications.

Responsibilities

• Lead representative for the College of Pharmacy at targeted local, state, regional, and national recruitment opportunities.
• Establish and maintain a strong network of professional relationships with pre-professional advisors, STEM faculty, student organizations, high schools, technical schools, four-year colleges, community partners, and other recruitment stakeholders.
• Coordinate and participate in virtual and in-person recruitment events, including visits, presentations, fairs, and information sessions.
• Identify priority recruitment markets, schedule visits, and coordinate travel; anticipate 60% travel.
• Develop and execute a strategic recruitment plan; educate prospective students on programs and admissions.
• Manage prospective students through the recruitment lifecycle and prepare annual recruitment reports; track KPIs.
