Job summary

Metropolitan Community College seeks a Student Recruitment Specialist to act as a field recruiter and outreach representative for prospective students at MCC. You will engage high schools, employers and community agencies, guiding candidates through the application journey and maintaining CRM contacts.

The role requires 2+ years in recruiting or related fields, an associate degree, and willingness to work evenings and weekends when events occur. Fort Omaha Campus on-site position.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Two years of recruiting, sales, marketing, admissions, outreach or customer service-related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience considered.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability to drive college vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Execute outreach and recruitment activities for assigned targets in all modalities: on-campus, off-campus and virtually.
• Present MCC's value proposition to prospective students, parents, counselors, employers and community agencies.
• Provide information to prospective students and assist through the application process.
• Develop ongoing relationships with prospect groups and internal teams to connect students to services.
• Use the CRM system to manage contacts and activities with prospects.
• Assist with campus visits, recruitment events, and Brand Ambassador coordination.
• Attend training activities as assigned and maintain confidentiality.
