Job summary

Metropolitan Community College in Omaha, NE is seeking a Student Recruitment Specialist to act as a field recruiter and outreach representative for prospective students. You will engage with high schools, employers, and community groups to drive MCC enrollment and support applicants through the process.

The role requires strong communication, CRM proficiency, and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends for events.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Communications, Marketing, Education, Management or related field required.
• Two (2) years of recruiting, sales, marketing, admissions, outreach or customer service-related experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and/or work experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Executes outreach and recruitment activities for assigned targets in all modalities: on-campus, off-campus and virtually.
• Presents the college’s value proposition to prospective students, parents, school counselors, employers and community agencies.
• Provides information to prospective students and assists with the application process.
• Develops ongoing relationships with prospect groups and internal departments to connect students to services.
• Consistently uses the CRM system to manage contacts and activities with prospects.
• Assists with campus visits, recruitment events and Brand Ambassador coordination.
• Attends training activities and maintains confidentiality.
