Job summary

Serrato Corporation seeks a dedicated recreation program coordinator to plan, organize and supervise a wide range of leisure-time activities for students. Shifts vary; evenings and weekends availability is required. The role involves teaching, supervising volunteers, maintaining records, and ensuring safety and order in all activity areas.

Candidates should have an associate degree, strong communication, and experience with youth programs. CDL-B and lifeguard cert are a plus.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Excel.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of recreation activities, games, sports, arts and crafts, etc.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and carry out department recreational services.
• Explain and demonstrate equipment and activity techniques.
• Supervise and mentor volunteers in recreation areas.
• Maintain records, schedules and inventory controls.
• Ensure safety and proper conduct per policies.
