Job summary

Penn Highlands Healthcare is seeking a Student Radiology Technologist to join our imaging team. You will provide prescribed imaging and patient care under supervision, up to 24 hours per week, and advance your competency through hands-on practice and protocol adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be currently enrolled in the second year of Radiological Technologist training from an AMA-approved school.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to protocol and demonstrate documented competency.
• Schedule limited to 24 hours per week.
• Not perform imaging in the operating room unless a registered technologist is present.

Job description

AS A STUDENT RADIOLOGY TECHNOLOGIST,

You will be under supervision while providing prescribed imaging and patient care services as per protocol, up to the level of documented competency. You will perform other duties as assigned. Scheduled no more than 24 hours per week. Student Technologist is not permitted to perform imaging in the operating room unless a registered technologist is in the room with them.
