Job summary

CommonSpirit Health in Grand Island, NE is seeking a Student Radiologic Technologist to assist in diagnostic imaging under supervision. You will support X-ray, CT, MRI exams, learn patient positioning, and help ensure a positive patient experience.

This role requires current senior-level enrollment in a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program, CPR certification, and willingness to learn imaging principles and workflow. Training is provided on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assist in radiographic procedures while ensuring compliance with supervision (no CT or contrast until instructed).

• Complete documentation of patient x-ray records and Quality Control processes.
• Engage in value-added activities that support positive patient satisfaction and operational performance.

*Job Summary and Responsibilities*

As our Student Rad Tech, you will gain hands‑on experience, supporting diagnostic imaging to aid accurate patient diagnosis.

Every day, you will assist in performing various imaging examinations (X-rays, CT, MRI), learning patient positioning, and contributing to positive patient experiences under supervision.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate a strong eagerness to learn, attention to detail, excellent communication, and a foundational understanding of imaging principles, committed to mastering workflow and image quality.

• Performs limited diagnostic radiographic procedures. Radiographic procedures must not include CT, the use of contrast media, and mammographic equipment.
• Performs and ensures safe, knowledgeable age‑specific patient care in a holistic manner.
• Provides patient education and responds to patient and customer concerns.
• Completes documentation of patient x‑ray record and Quality Control processes.
• Performs value‑added activities that result in positive financial performance and customer satisfaction.

• Medical Radiographer Temporary: NE, upon hire or
