Job summary

OSU Oregon State University’s Division of Research and Innovation seeks a part-time Student Project Assistant to support administrative and operational tasks within the Office of the VP for Research. This position involves collaboration with the Operations Manager and cross-functional teams and offers exposure to project work and process improvement.

The role requires current enrollment as a high school, college, or university student, with emphasis on attention to detail, strong communication

Qualifications

Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university and pursuing a program or course of study.
Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible for employment.
Freshman or Sophomore standing depending on institution; undergraduate international students must meet credit-hour requirements.

Responsibilities

40% Administrative Support: Update SOPs, manuals, onboarding/offboarding processes, and communications.
40% Operational Support: Assist with receipt, documentation and processing of financial checks; reconcile invoices; assist with office updates.
10% Office Improvement Projects: Support ongoing Division improvements with the Operations Manager.
10% Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional tasks as needed.
