The SPC Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and administering
all operational aspects of the Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk
College of Osteopathic Medicine ( LMU - DCOM ) Student Progress Committees
(SPCs). This position serves as the central point of coordination for
committee activities, ensuring students are evaluated consistently and
in accordance with institutional policies governing academic and
professional progression. The coordinator manages confidential records,
prepares committee materials, facilitates communication among faculty,
staff, administrators, and students, and supports timely committee
actions. The successful candidate demonstrates exceptional
organizational skills, sound judgment, discretion, and outstanding
written and verbal communication

Uses hands and fingers for repetitive keyboarding and office
tasks.
Occasionally stands, walks, bends, reaches, and lifts up to 20
pounds.
Requires visual acuity to review electronic and printed
documents.
Communicates effectively in person, by telephone, and through
virtual meeting platforms.
May travel occasionally between LMU - DCOM campuses.
Maintains concentration while managing confidential information,
multiple priorities, and interruptions.

Provide administrative and operational support for the Student Progress Committees
Coordinate all aspects of Student Progress Committee operations, including processing referrals, scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and supporting documentation, recording meeting minutes, maintaining official records, monitoring policy timelines, drafting official correspondence, and ensuring timely completion of committee actions
Serve as the primary liaison among students, faculty, committee members, Deans of Students, Campus Deans, and the Chief Academic Officer regarding Student Progress Committee matters
Support committee leadership by preparing reports, analyzing information, and maintaining accurate records and committee documentation
Maintain the Student Progress Committee tracking database, monitor case status and deadlines, and ensure committee decisions are accurately documented and communicated
Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports to support academic leadership and institutional decision-making
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding student records and committee deliberations
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of LMU and DCOM policies governing student academic and professional progression
Foster collaborative working relationships across the University to ensure efficient committee operations
Identify opportunities to improve committee workflows, documentation, and operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with institutional policies
Provide support for University events and examination proctoring as assigned
Perform other duties as assigned
