Job summary

Key to Change seeks an experienced, highly organized Student Programs & Events Manager to lead day-to-day administration of student programs and the planning and execution of its calendar of educational and community events. You will guide families from inquiry to enrollment and manage registrar functions including records, scheduling, tuition, and financial aid.

The role requires independently managing complex programs, communicating professionally with families, and owning events from planning

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years in program management or related field; 5+ years preferred.
  • Experience independently managing complex programs, events, or student services.
  • Excellent organizational and project-management skills.
  • Strong writing, interpersonal communication, and customer-service skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM, student-information, learning-management, or event-management systems is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional travel.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Own the administrative student journey from inquiry through enrollment and re-enrollment.
  • Maintain accurate student and family records, schedules, attendance, and documentation.
  • Coordinate lesson, studio class, workshop, and program schedules with faculty and leadership.
  • Serve as primary administrative liaison to music instructors for scheduling and logistics.
  • Manage fall, winter, spring, and summer enrollment processes and deadlines.
  • Provide timely, accurate communications to students and families.
  • Administer tuition-related services and financial aid processes.
  • Document and improve admissions, registration, enrollment, and family-facing procedures.
  • Oversee major events and educational programs (e.g., Solo String Festival, Open Houses, Open Houses)
  • Coordinate registrations and student participation for events; manage post-event follow-up.
