Job summary

University of Central Oklahoma is seeking a student photographer to create authentic imagery that captures the university experience for university use. The role reports to the Director of Photographic Services and offers up to 25 hours per week with flexible scheduling.

The candidate should be enrolled as a student and possess strong photography and editing skills, including proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Mac OS.

Qualifications

• Enrollment requirements: half-time in fall/spring for eligibility; specific credit-hour thresholds for graduates/undergraduates.
• Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Mac OS for editing and asset management.
• Must be able to work night and weekend assignments.

Responsibilities

• Photograph and edit newsworthy events, locations, people, sports, and other material for university use.
• Digitize negatives for editing, storage, and electronic transmission.
• Maintain digital assets including metadata and storage of digital archive.
• Interface with clients, talent, staff, and the community with discretion.
• Work closely with the Director of Photographic Services.
