Job summary

American University seeks undergraduate students for the CSB Peer Educator (FWS) role. You will co-facilitate workshops, design content, and support seven educational programs focused on identity, campus climate, and inclusive storytelling through video media.

The role emphasizes collaboration with staff, engagement with campus partners, and regular CSB training in the evenings/weekends. Enrolled AU students under FWS are eligible.

Qualifications

• Must be an AU student enrolled full-time under Federal Work Study.
• Ability to design and facilitate workshops and dialogues.
• Strong written and verbal communication with inclusive language.
• Ability to manage multiple programs and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Co-facilitate, design, and support program implementation of seven educational programs.
• Organize virtual meeting spaces and promote logistics via Engage and email.
• Develop content for at least one academic year program.
• Administer pre- and post-assessments to determine student needs and topics.
• Support marketing and registration processes with student staff.
• Provide administrative support during Center programs to admit participants and track attendance.
