This role leads conduct policies and investigations, partnering with units to ensure compliant responses, prevention education, and conflict management consultations for student organizations.

The position offers a hybrid schedule with days onsite in Ann Arbor,MI, reporting to the Associate Director of the Center for Campus Involvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of professional or graduate-level experience in student conduct, investigations, student organizations, conflict resolution, organizational advising, or related fields.
• Experience supporting student organizations or student leaders.
• Experience conducting investigations, including interviewing parties, reviewing evidence, analyzing complex information, and preparing formal reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage intake, triage, case coordination, documentation, and follow-up on alleged organizational misconduct.
• Administer and apply conduct policies and procedures, including the Standards of Conduct and Accountability Procedure Manual, in a fair, student-centered manner.
• Conduct or support impartial reviews by gathering information, interviewing involved individuals, reviewing documentation, analyzing information, and preparing summaries.
• Coordinate with campus partners for aligned and appropriate responses (Student Resolution Resources, Dean of Students Office, Equity, Civil Rights & Title IX, Fraternity and Sorority Life, OGC, Public Safety, Housing).
• Provide guidance to students, student organization leaders, advisors, faculty, and staff regarding expectations, conduct processes, conflict resolution options, and support.
• Develop and deliver education, training, and outreach on accountability, ethical leadership, hazing prevention, conflict management, and policy expectations.
• Support prevention and conflict resolution through coaching, restorative practices, educational interventions, and other approaches to strengthen organizational culture.
• Contribute to ongoing improvement of accountability practices, including policy review, assessment, and participation in committees or working groups.
