Miami Dade Collegeis now accepting applications for Student Opportunity Coordinator. The Student Opportunity Coordinator assists the students to obtain the wraparound services provided by the College and third-party agencies. This position supports the students with services to ensure retention in the program and transition to workplace readiness and post-secondary education.

What you will be doing:

• Facilitates student access to wraparound services as part of the program in an effort to optimize student success.
• Identifies student needs, coordinates access and delivery of services.
• Reports service outcomes to departmental staff.
• Communicates with instructors to monitor student retention and completion, post-testing and transition to workplace or postsecondary education.
• Monitors individual student retention and completion of Integrated Education and Training programs.
• Serves as a resource to campus administrators, staff, and committees as they identify, develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate resources for students.
• Collaborates with workforce agencies and college programs to deliver benefits for the students.
• Assists with student admissions and registration during peak period.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What you need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three (3) years of related experience.
• All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution.
