Job summary

UCAR Center for Ocean Leadership is seeking a Student Assistant to provide basic research, administrative, and program support to COL staff. You will collect and organize information, conduct designated research assignments, and help prepare written materials and briefing documents.

Work is performed under COL guidance using established procedures. All hybrid staff are expected to work on-site about three days per week in the United States.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or intent to enroll in an accredited program.
• Strong basic research and writing abilities.
• Ability to organize information clearly and follow procedures.
• Proficiency with computers and web applications.
• Attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature, web, and document searches on ocean science topics.
• Collect, organize, and summarize information from various sources.
• Assist with briefing materials, reports, and spreadsheets.
• Maintain program information and support meetings and workshops.
• Assist with testing and documenting digital tools.
