Position Summary:

Under the direction and supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse, the Student Nurse Technician assesses, plans, implements, educates, prioritizes, delegates, and evaluates a designated group of patients in accordance with all established Nursing Standards and Hospital Policies. They are responsible for managing all assigned personal supplies and equipment on the unit, and for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Duties are performed in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:

Education: Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent. Currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program, with fundamentals course to be completed within 90 days of hire.
