Mercyhealth in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin seeks a patient care support role under direct supervision of an RN. You will collect patient data, assist with procedures, review orders, and document care in the medical record.
The position emphasizes accurate data entry, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols. CPR/BLS certifications are required within 90 days, with room for growth within a large integrated health system.
Under direct supervision of RN:
Graduate of High School or GED preferred
Enrolled in an accredited, or accredited eligible, RN program, in academic good standing and have no more than 2 semesters to complete until program completion
Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days (other certifications per unit requirements: ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP).
