Qualifications

• Graduate of High School or GED preferred.
• Enrolled in an accredited RN program in good standing; have no more than 2 semesters to complete.
• Approved CPR or BLS certification required within 90 days (ACLS/PALS/PEARS/NRP as unit requirements).

## Student Nurse Intern - EDApply: Mercyhealth Freeport Hospital - Freeport, IL: PRN: Posted Today: 2026-03491**OVERVIEW:**As a Student Nurse Intern in the Emergency Department, you will gain hands-on clinical experience while working under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. You will assist with patient care, collect and document patient information, support clinical procedures, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to help deliver safe and efficient emergency care.
