Qualifications

• Completion of one clinical semester required

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients with attention to personal hygiene, safety, and comfort.
• Assist with admission: weight, vital signs, orientation to room/equipment.
• Assist with discharge: dressing, belongings, and transport.
• Document care, monitor intake/output, and assist with mobilization as ordered.
• Recognize and report pain or condition changes to the nurse.
• Mentor new staff as needed and requested.
• Transport medications per policy and ensure proper handling.
• Maintain unit supplies and equipment.
• Transport patients following safety policies.
• Process medical staff orders and communicate urgent orders.
