Geisinger is seeking a Student Nurse Assistant to support patient care across the hospital under licensed staff supervision. This advanced-level role offers hands-on experiences, department-oriented orientation, and mentorship to help nursing students build confidence and strengthen clinical skills.

You will assist with daily living activities, document observations, and participate in ongoing training and professional development to advance clinical judgment and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
• Must complete a 2-week orientation in December.

Responsabilités

• Assist with activities of daily living and direct patient care under supervision.
• Document care and observations in the EMR.
• Report changes in patient condition to licensed staff.
• Participate in orientation, training and mentorship.
• Perform point-of-care testing and quality control as trained.
• Assist with procedures and patient transfers under supervision.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to support patient care plans.
• Engage in professional development sessions.
