Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
• Must remain enrolled for the assignment.
• BLS certification within 6 months (Default Issuing Body).
• Academic progress and clinical rotation requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living and non-invasive patient care tasks.
• Document care and observations in the electronic medical record.
• Report changes in patient condition to licensed personnel.
• Collect and transport specimens per policy.
• Provide one-to-one patient safety observation as assigned.
• Assist with patient transfers and transport.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to support individualized patient care plans.
• Apply clinical judgment in routine situations with supervision.
• Participate in orientation, training and ongoing development sessions.
