Geisinger Wyoming Valley (GWV) is seeking a Student Nurse Assistant (SNA) on Med/Surg 4. This per diem position offers rotating shifts and the chance to gain hands-on patient care experience under licensed staff supervision.

You must be enrolled in an accredited nursing program and complete a 2-week December orientation. Expect to build clinical skills, document care, and participate in safety observations while advancing your nursing career.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled and remain enrolled in an accredited nursing program.
• Must successfully complete a 2-week orientation training in December
• Per diem position with rotating shifts

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities for daily living and non-invasive patient care tasks.
• Document care and observations in the electronic medical record.
• Report changes in patient condition to licensed personnel.
• Collect and transport specimens per policy.
• Provide one-to-one patient safety observation as assigned.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to support individualized patient care plans.
