Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI seeks a Student Nurse Assistant who works closely with nursing staff to care for acutely ill patients, gaining hands-on experience in a world-class hospital setting. This role offers flexible hours to fit school schedules, with typically one 8-12 hour shift per week and opportunities for additional hours.

Work hours are determined at time of hire and typically include 20% FTE (16 hours per pay period), generally every other weekend, with 8-12 hour shifts;

• Current enrollment in an accredited Nursing program (Associate or Bachelor of Science) and successful completion of the program’s hands-on entry-level clinical course
• Preferred – Previous health care experience.

Work Schedule

Work Hours will be determined at time of hire. This is primarily 20% FTE (16 hours per pay period), generally every other weekend, 8/12 hour shifts, Day/Evening/Night shift scheduling, holidays and weekends may be required. Clinic positions are Monday – Friday, Day hours. Hours will vary based on the operational needs of the department. This is a year round position

Pay

$19/hour plus Weekend and Evening/Night differential.

Education
