The University of Kansas Health System is seeking a Part-time Student Nurse Apprentice at Bell Hospital to support patient care under RN supervision during a 200-hour clinical capstone. This role leads toward the Nurse Associate at KC campus or Student Nurse Intern at Olathe campus upon completion.
Enrollment in an accredited nursing program is required, along with completion of a Fundamentals of Nursing or Med/Surg course and CPR/BLS certifications.

Position Summary / Career Interest:
As a current professional nursing student, this role provides clinical support to patients with the oversight of leadership and the students' affiliated school. This position provides direct and indirect care for assigned patients under the direction and supervision of an RN and in alignment with organizational and departmental policies and procedures. The Student Nurse Apprentice will work in this role for 200 hours during the semester for their clinical capstone. Upon completion of the 200 hours, they will transition into the associated campus role: Nurse Associate at the KC campus and Student Nurse Intern at the Olathe campus.
