Job summary

The Mount Church is seeking a dedicated Student Minister to lead the 7th–12th grade ministry and shepherd families as they follow Jesus together. You will oversee weekly environments, coordinate volunteer teams, and develop discipleship pathways that help students grow in faith and share their faith with peers.

Responsibilities include planning camps and events, ensuring student safety, and partnering with parents to equip households for gospel-centered discipleship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Ministry or related field preferred; relevant ministry experience considered.
• 5 years of proven leadership experience in student or family ministry.
• Experience planning weekly ministry environments, camps, retreats, and student events.
• Understanding of adolescent development and family discipleship.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision and leadership for Student Ministry aligned with The Mount’s mission.
• Lead weekly ministry environments including Midweek worship and Student CGs.
• Plan Biblically faithful, Gospel-centered teaching for students.
• Create pathways for Gospel understanding, spiritual disciplines, and service.
• Shepherd students with prayer, discipleship, and consistent presence.
• Build relationships with students, parents, volunteers, and families.
• Evaluate teaching and discipleship strategies for effectiveness and improvement.
