Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Significant documented experience in mental health counseling.
• Licensure: Must possess one of the following current Michigan credentials: LPC, LLPC, LMSW-Clinical, LLMSW-Clinical, LP, LLP.
• Demonstrated commitment to working effectively with a diverse student population.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health and personal counseling services to a diverse student population.
• Deliver individual and group counseling, consultation, referral, outreach, prevention programming and crisis intervention.
