Job summary

Harvard University Health Services (HUHS) seeks a Clinical Access Clinician to serve as the first contact for students seeking mental health care and well-being support. You will perform clinical evaluations, triage, and guide students to appropriate HUHS resources and referral options.

This 40-hour-per-week position spans the academic year with a reduced schedule in June and July, requiring licensure as LICSW or LMHC and bilingual abilities for effective outreach and care coordination within

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience.
• Fluency in a foreign language (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, or Spanish).
• Experience with emergency care and crisis management.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the initial point of contact for students seeking mental health care by facilitating initial consultations.
• Conducts clinical evaluations, screens for safety and risk, and guides next steps to connect students with services.
• Ensures timely entry of consultation data into the Access database and EHR.
• Adheres to CAMHS workflow and communication guidelines to ensure a consistent student experience.
• Maintains a clinical caseload of students in short-term therapy and coordinates urgent care follow-ups.
