Job summary

Cape Cod Community College in Massachusetts seeks a Production Studio Manager for the Fall 2026-Spring 2027 academic year, with potential extension. The Production Studio Manager supports the Makkay Broadcast Center by overseeing Open Production Sessions and giving students access to broadcast, podcasting, video production, and media facilities.

During Open Production Sessions, you serve as a technical resource and complete production, operational, and administrative duties, including WKKL

Qualifications

Adobe Audition and PlayItLive automation software expertise.
FCC-compliant radio operations knowledge.
Three years' experience in college and commercial radio operations.
Ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with students, alumni, faculty, staff, and community members.
Team-oriented, collaborative, and inclusive mindset.
Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Maintain approximately six hours of weekly Open Production Sessions for students.
Assist in checkout and return of broadcast, podcasting, video, and remote production equipment.
Review audio productions for technical quality and broadcast readiness.
Assist with weekly WKKL program logs and production content uploads.
Assist in recording and producing alumni, CCCC, and community features.
Provide operational support to the WKKL Operations Director and monitor automation systems.
Perform other duties to support the Makkay Broadcast Center and WKKL.
