Job summary

The University of Wyoming is seeking a Broadcast Studio Manager for Student Media. This on-campus role supports the bookings, use, and upkeep of the studio, ensuring smooth client productions and proper equipment functioning.

You will prepare invoices, coordinate coverage with staff, and assist with marketing campaigns. Candidates must be full-time students with a 2.5 GPA and be available for Sundays and Wednesday nights, plus Tuesdays 5:30–6:30 p.m.

Qualifications

  • Must be a full-time student enrolled.
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA required.
  • Proficiency with studio equipment.
  • Must be available to start work Aug. 18, 2025.
  • Must be available for publication deadlines on Sundays and Wednesday nights.
  • Must be available Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. for training.
  • Some supervisory experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing the bookings for the studio.
  • Ensure there is appropriate coverage and oversight for clients using the studio.
  • Prepare invoices for clients and obtain appropriate signatures.
  • Ensure that the equipment is in working order before and after use.
  • Liaise with studio support staff for client projects.
  • Assist with creating effective marketing campaigns for the studio.
  • Clean and organize the studio and equipment as needed.
  • Maintain the equipment and notify the Student Media Supervisor of repairs and replacements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
