Job summary

Yulista Holding, LLC seeks an entry-level Student Mechanical Project Engineer to support the Mechanical Program Manager and project team on construction and maintenance projects across Alaska. You will assist with takeoffs, RFIs, submittals, and field coordination, gaining exposure to piping, HVAC, equipment installation, and fabrication activities.

The role is temporary (≈4 months) with potential extension, primarily office-based with periodic site travel to Alaska project locations.

Qualifications

• Completion of 2–3 years of postsecondary education in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum six (6) months’ experience in the construction industry or design related to construction preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mechanical takeoffs using project drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
• Assist project staff with reviewing mechanical drawings, specifications, equipment schedules, and project requirements.
• Support project staff with quantity tracking, project documentation, and material coordination.
• Assist with tracking mechanical equipment, materials, fabrication activities, RFIs, submittals, and procurement status.
• Support coordination of mechanical scopes of work, including piping, HVAC, equipment installation, and fabrication activities.
