You will engage audiences, assist with weekly events emails, and post events to Handshake and the School of Engineering newsletter. On-site campus duties include office coverage and supporting employer info sessions and outreach efforts.

Qualifications

• KU student enrolled for the upcoming academic year (minimum of 6 credit hours).
• Firm grasp of social media tools and platforms, including Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram.

Responsibilities

• Build a weekly social media calendar and post approved content.
• Engage with social media; manage messages.
• Assist with weekly events email and postings to Handshake and the School of Engineering newsletter.
• Provide office coverage during staff lunches/meetings/absences.
• Assist with employer info sessions and company days.
• Compile weekly engagement statistics from each platform and share with ECC staff.
• Design and distribute digital and print marketing materials with School of Engineering staff.
• Gather prospective employer contacts for outreach.
• Other duties as assigned.
