Teleperformance in the United Kingdom is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support students applying for university loans. This remote role is UK-based, offering 40-hour weeks, Monday to Friday, with an 8 am to 7 pm schedule and an hourly rate of £12.71.

Initial remote classroom training of 11 days plus a 10-day nesting period is provided, with assessments and DBS/document checks. A dynamic, high-volume environment awaits those who communicate clearly and stay organized.

Qualifications

• Confidence with PCs, ability to perform in virtual training environments.
• Ability to handle challenging calls calmly and with determination.
• Strong listening and information-retrieval skills.
• Capable of multitasking and navigating complex systems quickly and accurately.
• Good attendance, punctuality, and flexibility to work scheduled shifts.
• Secure, private internet connection with a stable direct-to-router Ethernet cable.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls to support students and family members with loan applications, payments, eligibility, and funding queries.
• Work up to 9 hours per day, including a 1-hour unpaid break and lunch.
• Log into systems and be ready to take the first call of the day.
• Manage a high-volume call environment, speaking with multiple customers daily.
• Resolve challenging calls with resilience while meeting quality and average handling time targets.
• Actively listen, locate relevant information in the knowledge-base, and convey it clearly to customers.
• Navigate multiple complex systems efficiently.
