Qualifications

• Must be a current Berklee student.
• Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate program.
• Have a valid United States SSN and legal work status.
• Minimum 2.0 GPA; in good disciplinary standing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate audio recording equipment during AfroRoots performances & select events.
• Conduct a sound check before each AfroRoots show.
• Record individual audio channels for each band member (vocals, instruments, etc.).
• Mix and balance multi-track audio recordings for post-production video sync.
• Assess and communicate audio equipment needs for each show in advance.
• Coordinate with artists and AfroRoots production crew to ensure smooth audio setup.
• Maintain and deliver audio files promptly.
• Troubleshoot any technical issues during the AfroRoots show.
• Participate in AfroRoots-related promotional events.
• Assist with breaking down & setting up the room on show day.
