Job summary

Studio Operations Assistants at Berklee College of Music provide first-tier technical support in Berklee’s flagship recording studios and production suites. Under the supervision of the Studio Managers and Consultants, you guide PWTD students in their use of music technology, keep facilities in showroom condition, promote session continuity and help monitor a vast inventory of equipment.

Eligibility includes being a current MP&E student enrolled at least half-time, with a minimum 2.0 GPA, and

Qualifications

• Current MP&E student enrolled in or having taken MP 212, with at least two semesters to graduation.
• Stellar interactive and customer service skills.
• Friendly and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and clean all Production Facilities in the morning.
• Greet anyone who comes to the Studio Operations office.
• Provide guidance & technical support to students, staff and Faculty.
• Help enforce studio policies, session protocols and procedures.
• Answer phones and provide admin support to the office.
• Assist Studio Operations Team on various tasks and projects.
• Provide studio tours.
• Engineer or assist special event recording sessions.
• Other duties as assigned.
