Job summary

Theuniversityunion is seeking a full-time Resident Assistant in Delafield, WI to supervise a residence hall for students (grades 7-12). The RA will counsel and discipline, communicate with parents and faculty, and ensure the wellbeing and safety of residents in daily, nightly, and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities include enforcing conduct standards, training student leadership, and maintaining detailed counseling records.

Qualifications

• Must either have honorable service in the Armed Forces of the United States or have comparable experience in leadership and mentoring.
• Must be able to drive students utilizing academy transportation on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities

• Supervise residents and monitor daily activities to ensure safety and order.
• Counsel, advise, and discipline students as needed to promote positive behavior and development.
• Communicate with parents, faculty, and staff about student progress and concerns on a weekly basis.
• Maintain records and reports on student welfare, conduct, and residence hall operations.
• Plan and coordinate student life activities and opportunities for leadership development.
• Inspect dorm rooms for safety, cleanliness, and compliance with academy policies.
