Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least two years of experience administering new student orientation and/or first-year experience programs or coordinating complex programs, initiatives, or events involving multiple departments and stakeholder
• Experience training, scheduling, and providing day-to-day direction to student employees, orientation leaders, peer mentors, student ambassadors, or similar program participants
• Master's degree (required)

Responsibilities

• New Student Orientation and Transition: Plans, implements, and evaluates orientation experiences and coordinates with multiple college areas to ensure accurate information and smooth operation.
• First-Year Engagement and Student Ambassador Coordination: Develops programs and coordinates recruitment, scheduling, and participation of student ambassadors and orientation leaders.
• Program Administration, Assessment, and Improvement: Establishes goals and measures, prepares reports, and monitors budgets and resources for assigned programs.
• Student Life Support and College Service: Provides administrative support for Student Life activities and represents the College at events.

Education

Bachelor's degree and 2+ years experience in orientation/first-year programs
