Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years’ experience in higher education student services is desirable.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with proficiency in online communication.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and work independently or as part of a team.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with social media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
• Prior experience planning and assisting with special events.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coordinating undergraduate student co-curricular programming, advising student leaders, and guiding the Student Activities team.
• Provide admin and logistic support for events like New Student Orientation, Welcome Week, and Commencement.
• Assist with budget processing and financial transactions for student activities.
• Coordinate and evaluate all student activity events with the Director and other college offices.
• Participate in professional development for SLD Peer Navigators, club leaders, and student government members.
• Support planning and implementation of on- and off-campus events for student clubs and organizations.
• Represent the College in campus-wide groups focusing on student issues.
• Evaluate student needs and trends; develop programs based on outcome data.
• Track student participation using City Tech Connect system.
• Advise the Student Government Association.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
