Job summary

York Technical College is seeking an Alumni Development Coordinator to lead programs that engage alumni and community partners, drive annual giving, and coordinate events and communications in support of the Foundation and College Advancement goals.

The role partners with faculty, staff, and external donors to cultivate relationships, research funding prospects, and plan stewardship activities, awards, and affinity programs to strengthen York Tech's impact across York, Lancaster, and Chester

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 1+ year of experience in alumni relations and/or fundraising.
• Experience with proposal development and grant writing.
• 2+ years of professional experience in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and execute programs to engage alumni and community prospects to create an ongoing base of annual giving resources.
• Coordinate career development and life-long learning programs for alumni and organize volunteers for special events.
• Develop and write proposals to public and private foundations and research funding sources.
• Plan and lead special events and affinity partnerships to support the College and Foundation goals.
