Job summary

Oklahoma Baptist University is seeking a Coordinator of Student Activities & Greek Life to lead day-to-day student engagement initiatives and oversee co-curricular programs. The role partners with the Dean of Spiritual Life, Leadership & Engagement to implement a strategic vision for student involvement, leadership development, and a Christ-centered campus culture.

You will advise student organizations, coordinate recognition and compliance, and train student leaders across campus life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree preferred in Higher Education, Student Affairs, Leadership, or related field.
• Experience with student organizations, campus programming, or Greek life in a higher education setting.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as required by student activities and events.
• Commitment to Christian higher education and alignment with the mission and values of OBU.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day planning, coordination, and execution of student activities and engagement initiatives.
• Implement engagement strategies and programs in alignment with the Dean’s direction.
• Collaborate with campus partners to support signature events, traditions, and co-curricular experiences.
• Serve as the primary advisor and operational lead for recognized student organizations.
• Coordinate organization recognition, registration, and compliance processes.
• Train and support student leaders in organizational management and leadership development.
• Partner with Student Ministry and other Campus Life areas to integrate leadership development and spiritual formation.
• Collaborate across Campus Life and Academic Affairs to foster belonging, leadership growth, and campus culture.
• Track participation data, engagement trends, and program outcomes to inform continuous improvement.
