The College of Southern Maryland invites applications for a Student Life Coordinator to support campus engagement across La Plata, Prince Frederick, and Leonardtown. You will help run daily operations of Student Life offices, assist students, staff, and community, and ensure spaces are welcoming and functional.

The Student Life Coordinator provides operational support for Student Life programs, services, and campus engagement initiatives across the La Plata, Prince Frederick, and Leonardtown campuses. The position coordinates the day-to-day operations of Student Life offices and student engagement spaces while supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of departmental programs, events, and services. The Specialist assists students, faculty, staff, and community by answering inquiries and researching and resolving records, registration, and course issues timely and efficiently. The position assists in the successful delivery of student leadership initiatives, campus traditions, co-curricular experiences, and institutional events by coordinating event logistics, maintaining functional program spaces, and ensuring resources and facilities are prepared to support student engagement and success.
Reports to: Assistant Director, Student Life
The hiring salary for this position will be from the min to mid-point of the salary range advertised. This position is open until filled.
The work is mostly sedentary work which requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly.
Work is performed in a relatively safe, and secure work environment.
