College of Southern Maryland in Maryland seeks a Director of Campus Operations to lead scheduling services, event execution, and campus coordination across locations. You will translate strategic priorities into workflows, staffing models, and service standards.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Campus Operations, you will supervise Coordinators, manage Coursedog governance and data integrity, and ensure efficient room assignments and timely, accurate scheduling.

The Director of Campus Operations provides operational leadership for scheduling services, event execution, and campus coordination activities across all locations. Reporting to the Executive Director, this role is responsible for implementing departmental strategies and ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery of scheduling and event-related services. The Director oversees Campus Operations Coordinators and the Scheduling Unit, translating departmental priorities into effective workflows, staffing models, and service standards. This position ensures efficient room assignments, coordinated event logistics, and accurate scheduling operations that support academic and administrative needs. The Director serves as the system administrator for Coursedog and is responsible for maintaining system functionality, data integrity, and user adoption. Through strong operational oversight and collaboration, the Director ensures that campus operations are responsive, efficient, and aligned with established policies and institutional expectations. The Director provides direct operational support to the Executive Director and serves as the designated lead for Campus Operations in their absence, ensuring continuity of operations, decision-making, and communication within established policies and authority.

The hiring salary for this position will be from the min to mid-point of the salary range advertised. This position is open until filled.
The work is medium work, which requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Work is performed in a relatively safe, and secure work environment.
