Qualifications

• Reliable and committed to a regular work schedule.
• Must be able to lift/push modest weights.
• Previous work in a library or book store a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for a diverse group of student and community members.
• Assist patrons at the circulation desk.
• Check in/out books and other library material.
• Reserve items, DVDs and laptops.
• Answer general questions about the library and library services.
• Shelve and retrieve books.
• Participate in library inventory, including shelf reading and shelf maintenance.
• Special projects assigned by library staff.
