Job summary

Mulwaree High School is seeking a School Learning Support Officer for a full-time ongoing position in NSW. You will assist students with diverse learning needs in classrooms and other environments under the supervision of a teacher.

The role covers student welfare, health and wellbeing activities, and may involve streams such as vision/hearing support and bilingual work. A Working with Children Check and relevant training are required.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Working with Children Check clearance.
• Willingness to undertake first aid training relevant to the role.
• Administration of medications training to be provided.
• Health support training to be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for students with identified diverse learning needs in classrooms and other settings under teacher supervision.
• Include student welfare, health and wellbeing activities as required.
• Support streams/settings such as pre-school, vision support, hearing support, and bilingual as needed.
