Job summary

The University of North Texas - Dallas is seeking a Student Leadership Success Program Intern to provide support in executing student engagement initiatives, mentorship programs, and coordination of leadership activities. This intern plays a key role in assisting the Executive Director with various operational tasks, including communications, event coordination, and program tracking.

We are looking for a candidate with strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and experience in higher education settings. The position requires a commitment to fostering a supportive environment for students. Work hours include some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• One year of experience or related course work.
• Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously.
• Ability to support fast-paced student-centered programming.

Responsibilities

• Manage calendars, appointments, and scheduling for the Executive Director.
• Assist with student tracking and program communications.
• Coordinate workshops, mentoring activities, and leadership events.

Skills

Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong attention to detail and confidentiality

Knowledge of higher education student support environments

Experience with Microsoft Office and databases
